Helen Faulkner Barbaree, 74, entered into rest on Sunday, June 9, 2013.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Westover Memorial Park.
She was born in Clinton, SC and later moved to Martinez, GA where she spent the remainder of her life. Mrs. Barbaree was an employee of Riverside Mill and left there to become a homemaker. Her family and friends will remember her as one who was always eager to please others and the last to think about herself. She was a member of the VFW Post 7909 in Jacksonville, FL and also a member of the VFW Women’s Auxillary Post 3200 in Augusta, GA. Mrs. Barbaree loved her family very much, especially her great grandson, Hunter.
Survivors include her daughter, Tonya Knox of Hephzibah, GA, her granddaughter, Tammy Taylor, great grandson, Hunter Taylor, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 12, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
