Marslene E. (Baker) Brown, 84, of Bridgewater, died Friday June 7th in the Signature Healthcare Center Brockton Hospital, after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of 58 years to the late Francis H. Brown.
She was born and brought up in Vermont, daughter of the late Paul and Hazel (Tallman) Baker.
Marslene has lived on the South Shore for sixty years. Her family was first and foremost to her. She enjoyed sharing her flowers, music and playing cards with her family.
She is survived by her 8 children, Linwood Brown of Kingston, Reneai Ainslie of Bridgewater, Jeannie Quinn of Taunton, Bonnie Ainslie of Belchertown, Connie Horton of Whitman, Celia Kelley of Easton, Shirley Balboni of Fall River and Christopher Brown of Bridgewater; also 21 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren , 7 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Linvil “Brian” Brown and sister of the late, Alger, Paul, Clyde, Clyle, Wade, Dayton and Leo Baker, Xina Baker, Marion Lowell and Nadine Maskell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday June 10th from 4:00-7:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman.
