Worcester – Beverly M. (Wilson) Raymond, 83, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on June 5, 2013.
Born January 18, 1930 in Worcester, MA, she was a Cafeteria Manager at Canterbury St. School for many years. Her passion was her family. She enjoyed doing ceramics but was most happy telling stories to her children, and especially her grandchildren.
She leaves her loving husband of 63 years, Robert A. Raymond; her daughters, Deborah Roy of Worcester, Susan Peterson and her husband Joe of Conway, NH and June Schwartz and her husband Gary of Spencer, MA; her son, Robert D. Raymond and his wife Tonia of Worcester; 7 loving grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dubrelle D. and Jeannette (Pateneaude) Wilson; two sisters, two brothers and her son in law, Paul D. Roy.
Mrs. Raymond was a member of Holy Family Parish and belonged to Holy Name of Jesus Church for many years until it’s closing.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, June 8th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church 35 Hamilton Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are on Friday, June 7 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association 10 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701.
