Mark L. Ballard, 57, passed away June 5, 2013 at his residence. He loved the outdoors, a hunter and fisherman
Employed with D.D. Williamson for 33 years , he aided young men through his work as an Assistant Scout Master with Troop 72 for ten years and as a member of Nazarene Church.
He was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas “Nick” Ballard and his mother Clarine (Toy) Ballard and father Kyle Lee Ballard.
He is survived by his wife and friend of 34 years, Laura Reed Ballard; sisters, Jeannie Hutchenson (Hutch) and Peggy Jackey (George).
Funeral service will be held 11 am, Monday at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation 1-8 pm, Sunday.
