Ricky Lee “Rick” Bohannon, 52, of Enigma died Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at New Beginnings Worship Center in Enigma. Rev. Pat Suggs will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date.
Mr. Bohannon was born on February 12, 1961 in Rochelle (Wilcox County) and was the son of Betty Smith Rineair of Tifton and the late Raymond Bohannon. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Nicole Bohannon. He was a retired painter.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Bohannon is survived by one son, David Bohannon of Alabama; one daughter, Jessica Bohannon of Adel; one brother, Rocky Bohannon of Albany; and two sisters, Penny Peters of Tifton and Betty Sue Purvis of Enigma.
