Debra “Debbie” Anne Waldo Carter, Age 50, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at her home in Coffeeville, MS. She was born August 19, 1962 in Ruleville, MS to Toby Austin and Iva Lee Denney Waldo. Debbie was employed as a Pharmacy Technician at Medicap Pharmacy in Batesville, MS, enjoyed scrapbooking, family vacations and trying new recipes. She was a compassionate, giving person who loved helping others. Debbie was a proud mother and a friend to all. She loved her church family and was an active and devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served and coordinated many church activities. Debbie shared the love of Christ through her actions and example and was the number one reason that her children and family members came to know Christ.
Visitation is planned for Monday, June 3, 2013 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 10:00am at Calvary Baptist Church in Coffeeville, MS with Bro. James West officiating. Burial will be in the Elam Cemetery in Coffeeville with Todd Johnson, Ryan Winters, Jason Adams, Arthur Thomas, Terry Denney, Daniel Sossaman, Jason Waldo, and T. J. Denley serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Presley Adams, Grady Carter, Cliff Waldo, James Waldo, and Austin Waldo.
Debbie is survived by her daughter, Alessandra "Sandy" Carter Hutchens (James) of Tillatoba, MS; her son, Grady Lee Carter (Kayla) of Coffeeville, MS; her parents, Toby and Iva Lee Waldo of Coffeeville, MS; her sister, Rhonda Waldo of Mercer, TN; her brothers, James Waldo (Vanessa) of Goosecreek, SC and Cliff Waldo (Jennifer) of Coffeeville, MS; her granddaughter, Trista Alyse Martin; three nieces, Hanna Waldo, Cindy Goodwin and Laura Lee Goodwin; and one nephew, Austin Waldo.
