New Bedford – Ramon L. Carmona, age 60, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 30 2013 at his home in New Bedford. He was born in Puerto Rico, the son of Maria L. (Santiago) and the late Candido Carmona. He worked in the construction industry until his retirement.
His family includes his mother, Maria of Camden, NJ; 3 children: Raymond L. Carmona and Reyna L. Carmona, both of New Bedford, and Raymond A. Carmona, Jr. of Philadelphia, Pa; his former companion and mother of his children, Zenaida Hernandez of New Bedford; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Carmona will have visiting hours on Monday, June 3 from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St in New Bedford, with a Religious Service to begin at 12:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Relatives and friends are welcomed.
