Former wife of the late George Thomas Murphy, Marine Corps Veteran, Vietnam. Loving mother of Denise M. and her husband James D. McCarthy, III of Dedham, David M. Murphy of Roslindale and Daniel M. Murphy of Roslindale. Cherished grandmother of Melissa N. and Matthew J. McCarthy. Beloved daughter of the late Theresa (DiAngelis) and John Costa of the North End. Devoted sister of Carol and her husband Santo “Sonny” Noe of Roslindale, the late Elaine Silver of Roslindale and Lucien “Butch” Costa of New Hampshire. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St., West Roxbury on Tuesday, June 4, at 9:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 – 8:00pm. Interment St. Michael’s Cemetery.
