Teresa A. (Liehr) Milius died on May 29th at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House after a period of declining health. She was the daughter of Oswald and Theresa (McNulty) Liehr and lived most of her life on Prospect Hill in Lawrence.
She attended the Rollins School and Lawrence High School, (class of 1944). Tess enjoyed knitting and bowling and especially loved spending time with family at her camp at Province Lake. She always enjoyed the company of children and after raising her own family, worked for a number of years at Kinder Care and Little Sprouts. She also worked as a precinct poll worker on Prospect Hill for many years.
Tess is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Dorothy and Tim Melvin of Bradford, and her sons and daughters-in-law Thomas Milius and Jeannine Gaudreau of Groveland and Richard Milius and Amy Dingley of Lebanon, NH,
She was a devoted Nana to Colum and Caitlin Moran, James, Elena, Joseph, and Jillian Milius, Maddie and David Melvin, Grace and Julia Milius, and a great grandmother to Silas Wilkinson.
She is also survived by her nieces; Maureen Donato, Dawn Ingham and Mary Ann Freedman and many grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
Tess was predeceased by her husband Leo, with whom she shared sixty years of marriage, her daughters Barbara Karpowicz and Patricia Moran, and her brothers Ozzie and Fred Liehr.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 3rd, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in Corpus Christi Church in Lawrence, MA. Interment will be at the Lithuanian National Cemetery in Methuen at a later date.
