Kenneth T. Monahan, Sr., age 78, of Kingston, died on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at his home.
Born in Malden, he was the son of the late Henry & Dorothy (Doucette) Monahan. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army for over 20 years, serving in the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. For almost 20 years, he was a technician for printing equipment.
He was the beloved husband of Helen (Farrell) Monahan; devoted father of Kenneth T. Monahan, Jr. of Bourne and Rita J. Lammers of Ocala, FL; loving grandfather of Kristina Brown & her husband Jay, Kenneth T. Monahan III, Nicole A. Monahan and great-grandfather of five; dear brother of the late Charles Monahan, Eugene Monahan, his twin Richard Monahan and Patricia Coviello. He is also survived by two nieces.
There will be no visiting hours.
A memorial funeral Mass will be held at Saint Joseph's Church, 272 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at 9:00 AM.
Interment services will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bennington Boulevard, Bourne, on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
