Sara Evelyn Mobley McMillan, 72, of Irwin County, Georgia, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at her residence.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home in Ocilla. Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, June 2, 2013, at Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church in Irwin County with the Elder Mickey Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. McMillan was born August 6, 1940, in Berrien County to the late Gilbert M. and Nell Dunn Mobley. She graduated from Irwin County High School. She was a graduate of Ben Hill Irwin Technical College where she was selected as the Goal student. She was a former bookkeeper for Wal Mart Distribution Center in Douglas, Ocilla Gin Inc. and Luke Peanut Company in Ocilla. She was a member of Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons: Hal & Melinda McMillan of Enigma and Mark & Dee Dee McMillan of Ocilla; five grandchildren: Sarah Maegan McMillan, Daulton H. McMillan, Dillon Gates McMillan, Kacee Leigh McMillan and Mace Elizabeth McMillan; one brother: Weyman & Karel Mobley of Irwin County and nieces and nephews: Tracy & Craig Daniels, Leslie & Chris Young and Scott Mobley.
