WORCESTER____Josephine R. Grigas, 86, formerly of Worcester and Northhampton, died Thursday August 12 in Jewish Healthcare Center, Worcester.
Miss Grigas was a Registered Nurse and worked for the Veterans Adminstration Medical Center, Northampton from 1953 until retiring several years ago. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of Paul and Rose A. (Zalenskiute) Grigas and later lived many years in Northampton before returning here.
She was a member of Our Lady of Vilna Church.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday August 17 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Vilna Church, 151 Sterling St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
