Morris, Maureen Elizabeth, (Flood) 68, of Plymouth. Passed away at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth on May 27. Beloved wife of Gary Morris of Plymouth, loving mother of William J. Morris of Plymouth, Gary Morris Jr. and his wife Lauren of Lynn, step mother of Keith Morris and Peter Morris both of Wakefield, Debra Lee Carmody of Lowell. Sister of Richard Flood of Plymouth, Robert Flood and his wife Lynn of Kingston, and the late William J. Flood Jr, and Kathleen Flood. She also leaves 2 grandchildren Lyla and Eva Morris of Lynn, and several nieces and nephews.
Maureen was born in Boston the daughter of William and Mary (Egan) Flood. She grew up in Randolph and graduated from Randolph High School and went to Massasoit College for 2 years and received an AS. Degree from there. She worked as a hairdresser at Russell Edwards in Randolph, Fantastic Sam’s in Pembroke and Theresa’s Hair say in Rockland.
Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis funeral home 619 State Road (Rte 3A) Plymouth, (Manomet) on Thursday May 30, 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A prayer service will be held on Friday May 31, at 10:00 AM, at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations in Maureen’s memory may be made to the Lupus Foundation of MA 40 Speen St. Suite 205, Framingham, MA 01701-1898
