Raymond A. Peltier, 88, of Fiskdale died Saturday, May 25th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center – University Campus. He leaves several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is predeceased by four brothers, Arthur, Joseph, Albert and Roland Peltier and two sisters, Marion LaPearle and Dorothy Ekasala
Raymond was born in Worcester the son of Arthur A. and Philomina (L’Esprance) Peltier. Mr. Peltier was a Chief Petty Officer for 23 years with the United States Navy serving in World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam. He was a member of the former Notre Dame des Canadiens Church.
His funeral is Friday, May 31st from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, May 31st from 9:00 until 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
