MURPHY, Mary Helen (Gootee), 91, of Louisville, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013.
She retired as Cafeteria Manager for St. Anne’s School and was a member of Mary Queen of Peace.
Mrs. Murphy was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Murphy, Sr.; daughter, Helen Marie Murphy; son, Pat Murphy; brothers, Clifford, Joseph and Harold and sister, Pauline.
She is survived by her children, William H. Murphy, Jr., Michael Murphy, Judy Murphy, and Gerald Murphy; sister, Viola Chodynicki; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and special friend, Dee Carroll and her family.
Funeral Mass will be 10am Wednesday at Mary Queen of Peace, 4005 Dixie Highway, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-7pm Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
