TEWKSBURY - Rita F. (Angier) Silvaria, age 71, died Saturday morning, Aug. 14, at the BlaireHouse of Tewksbury, after a long period of declining health. She was the wife of the late AlbertSilvaria.
She was born in Lowell, June 5, 1933, a daughter of Regina (Dupuis)(Angier) Perry ofTewksbury, and the late Alfred Angier. She attended Lowell schools, graduated from LowellHigh School, and lived the greater part of her life in Lowell. She moved to Tewksbury in 1990.
Before retirement, she worked at Raytheon in both Bedford and later Tewksbury.
As a resident of Lowell, she was a communicant of St. Margaret’s Parish, and later St. William’sParish in Tewksbury.
She was also an active participant in area Bingo charities.
Besides her mother, she is survived by one brother, Alfred Angier Jr. of Lowell; a sister and abrother-in-law, Sandra and her husband James Columbus of Tewksbury; a step-sister, DorothyGendreau of Lowell; two sisters in law Florence and her husband Edward Sousa of Lowell,Shirley LaVoie of Tyngsboro and several nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Virginia Radtke; step-daughter of the late Manuel Perry; sister-in-law of the late David Silvaria, John “Sonny” Silvaria, and Dorothy Corcoran.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, Aug. 18, in St. William’s Church, Tewksbury. Interment was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, E. Chelmsford.
