Melissa M. Brown, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Whidden Hospital in Everett. She was 44 years old.
Melissa was born in Boston on January 10, 1969, a daughter of Thomas J. Brown and Jan (Bernheart) Brown. She grew up in Charlestown where she attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from St. Clement's High School in Somerville in 1987. Melissa worked several odd jobs, but most of all in her lifetime was her daughter Kayleigh whom she loved and cherished each and every day.
Melissa is the devoted and loving mother of Kayleigh Brown. She is the beloved daughter of Thomas J. Brown and Jan (Bernheart) Brown. She is the devoted sister of Thomas J. Brown Jr. and Richard Brown and Allison. She is the loving aunt of Damien. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Melissa's visiting hours on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 3 to 7 P.M. followed by her Funeral Service at 7 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Interment is private.
