Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 5-8 pm.
Obituary
Mrs. Pierce died Thursday evening at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Brockton, daughter of the late Antonio and Philomena (Urbani) Antonangeli. She had been a lifelong resident of Brockton. She was educated in St. Patrick school and had been employed by Stacy-Adams Shoe Mfg. Company for many years and retired at the age of 82 from Massasoit Community College after 23 years working in the college cafeteria. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. She had been a longtime communicant of St. Margaret Church
She is survived by two daughters, Beverly A. Bohlin and her husband Robert and Frances M. Machini and her husband John, five grandchildren, Leeann Geherty, Kenneth and Peter Bohlin, Deborah Reidy and Joseph Machini, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
She was the wife of the late John L. Pierce, mother the late John L. Pierce, Jr., grandmother of the late Mark Marchini and sister of the late Linda Antonangeli, Zalinda Pinciaro and Anthony Antonangeli.
