Romeo R. Cefalo died peacefully on Saturday evening in the company of his loving family. He was 93. A life-long Medford resident, he was the son of the late Albino and Nunziata (Bevilacqua) Cefalo. He worked as a butcher throughout his life at Liberty Market in Medford. He was also a member of the Medford Elks Lodge. Romeo was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with his many friends.
His beloved wife Josephine passed away in November. He leaves his four devoted sons, Albert Cefalo and his wife Joyce; Romeo Cefalo, Jr. and his wife Laura; Richard Cefalo and his wife Nancy; Joseph Cefalo and his wife Joy. He also leaves 13 loving grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may visit at the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main Street Medford on Wednesday from 4 through 8 and again on Thursday morning at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Saint Clement Church at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
