SURPRISE, ARIZONA: Stella (Sparanges) Mimonski, 90, formerly of Wayland, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 12, 2013 following a period of declining health.
She was born in Cambridge on December 11, 1922 the daughter of the late Louis C. Sparanges and Olga (Zephries) Sparanges.
Stella is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 68 years, Henry J. Mimonski of Surprise, AZ formerly of Wayland. Beloved mother of Catherine A. “Cathy” Morris of Litchfield Park, AZ formerly of Medway, Milford and Wayland and Olga M. Stanton and her husband Walter Stanton of Jamesville, NY. Grandmother of Blake John Christle of Warwick, RI and Paulianne C. McMaster and her husband Phillip McMaster of Raleigh, NC. Great-grandmother Madison Blake Christle and Reilley Phillip McMaster. She was the mother-in-law of the late Jan V. Morris who died in January 2010 and grandmother of the late Gregory H. Christle who died in November 1983.
Stella had been a 40 year resident of Wayland before retiring to Arizona with her husband Henry in 2004. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family, who were the center of her life.
Visitations will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the Bryant Memorial Chapel of the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Rd (Off Rte 30), Wayland.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in the Mimonski family lot in Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland.
