Cynthia Scott Milby, 84, of Seashore Point, Provincetown, passed away on Saturday, May 4th at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, MA, surrounded by her family and those closest to her. She was born in New London, CT and had resided in Provincetown since 1960. She was a CNA, employed at the Manor for 10 years and held a variety of retail positions in town. She enjoyed creating jewelry, hats and small gifts. Cynthia was an avid reader and adored her two cats, Eli and Max.
She was predeceased by her partner of 40 years, Robert Baker. In addition to her parents, William and Anne Scott, she was also predeceased by her loving sister, Lawton S. Giordano. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Conti and her husband, Anthony, of Danbury, CT and beloved grandchildren, Farley , Alexa, and Mathew and a great granddaughter, Emily. She is also survived by her three nieces, Amy, Cynthia, and Lucy, her former husband, Frank Milby, and a host of long time devoted friends.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 18th at 11:00 A.M. at The Church of Saint Mary of the Harbor, 517 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA.
