MAYNARD, Mark Robert, of Bradford, MA, age 52, passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, following a valiant six year battle with melanoma. He was the cherished son of the late David and Joan Maynard. He is survived by his loving brothers and sisters: Michael, of Winthrop, MA, Meredith Rogers of Kennebunk, ME, Marney Whittaker of Bradford, MA, Megan Kirby of Lynn, MA and Matthew, of Kennebunk, ME . Mark also leaves his beloved nieces and nephews: Tarryn Maynard, Garrick Maynard, Ashley Rogers, Bailey Rogers, Meredith Vernatter, Ian Gresh, Shannon Kirby and Michaela Kirby; grandniece Vivian Morrissette and grandnephew Alexander Vernatter. He is also survived by his best friend and devoted, loving companion, Marya Wolff, of North Reading, MA.
A celebration of Mark’s life will be commemorated with a Mass at St. Martha’s Church in Kennebunk, Maine, on Sunday, June 23, 2013. This is the day after what would have been Mark’s 53rd birthday. The church is located just north of downtown Kennebunk on Route One. All friends and family are welcome.
