Charles H. Perrotta, age 66, of Brockton, died May 8, 2013 at Kindred Hospital in Stoughton, following a period of failing health. Born, raised and educated in Brockton, he was the son of the late Fiorino and Doris (Grow) Perrotta. He was a Vietnam veteran who served in the Navy, and following his discharge attended Massasoit Community College. Charlie was an entrepreneur who owned and operated a Laundromat, a sub shop and several lounges. His success in these endeavors is largely attributable to his charismatic endearing charm. For 20 years Charlie had been employed by BAMSI, where he took great pride in his work in the facilities department. He was an auto enthusiast, avid reader, history buff and handy man known as “Mr. Fix-It”. He also enjoyed following the stock market and traveling with his late son Chris.
Charlie is survived by a son Matthew C. Perrotta; a daughter Kelly Robinson; a sister Harriett E. Ferrone, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Chris Perrotta and brother of the late Lee Perrotta. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nurses at Kindred Hospital for all their care during his stay.
