CHARLTON-John M. Reynolds, 50, of Charlton died Monday, August 9th as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in South Dakota. He is survived by his wife Patricia (Faucher) Reynolds, a stepson, R. J. Ouellette of East Falmouth, 2 sisters, Linda Tokarski of Glastonbury, CT and Sue Prentiss of East Providence, RI, 2 nephews, Marcus Prentiss and Brian Tokarski, a niece, Lynn Prentiss, and close friends, James and Kathy Pellegrino of Spearfish, SD.
He was born in Hartford, the son of Henry B. and Bettie Jane (Molinar) Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds had been a police officer for the City of Worcester for the past 21 years, previously he had worked as a security guard for the Worcester Telegram and for Berkshire Armor Services. He was a graduate of Maine Central Institute, Becker Junior College and Quinsigamond Community College. Officer Reynolds was a member of Local 378 I.B.P.O., Massachusetts Police Association, Fight for Life, Southern Massachusetts Police Association, Auburn Lodge of Elks, the Oxford Golf and Racquet Club and the Law Dog Motorcycle Group.
Calling hours are Sunday, August 15th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. A funeral service will be held Monday, August 16th at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will take place in Rose Hill Cemetery, Spearfish, SD.
