Truong T. Mason, 64, of Little Compton, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 with her loving husband by her side. She succumbed after a courageous two and a half year battle with cancer. Truong or Rose, as she was more commonly known as by her friends and family, is survived by her husband of 44 years, Bruce A. Mason, Sr.
Born in Vinh Long, South Vietnam on September 5, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Truong Van Anh and Nguyen Thi Dinh, who survives her.
Mrs. Mason was the owner of Rose’s Home cleaning service, which she ran for over 30 years.
In addition to her mother and husband she is also survived by a daughter, Thuy T. Mason and her husband Roger of Alameda, CA, sons Bruce A. Mason, Jr. of Brooklyn, NY and James S. Mason and his wife Suzanne of Apex, NC, three grandchildren: Alexander Truong and Beca Li Truong of Alameda, CA and Nolan Mason of Apex, NC and a large number of caring and loved extended family members.
A memorial service in her honor will be announced and held at a later date.
