Chris Fincher, 26, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, August 8, 2004, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 12, 2004, at Holt Baptist Church, with Rev. David Biggers officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Leila Glenn, 125 Lobingier Avenue.
Mr. Fincher was born February 21, 1978 in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Martha Fincher Grubbs. He lived in Fitzgerald all of his life and was a former employee of Pace American of Georgia. Mr. Fincher attended East Central Technical School, studying Telecommunications. He attended Dorminy Mill Baptist Church and Faith Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother: Martha Grubbs, Fitzgerald; four children: Emily Fincher, Angel Boyd and Blake Fincher, all of Cordele and Savannah Fincher, Fitzgerald; one sister: Christy Grubbs, Fitzgerald; maternal grandmother: Leila Glenn, Fitzgerald and paternal grandfather: Joe Fincher, Ocala, FL
