Mr. Robert William Moody, JR. a resident of Tewksbury for more than 45 years, died in Andover beside his family on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, from a long courageous battle with leukemia. He was 67 years old.
Born in Everett, Massachusetts, on November 25, 1945, he was the beloved son of the late Robert W., Sr. and Sarah E. (Coady) Moody. Mr. Moody was a Sheet Metal worker for many years. He loved to line dance and was a model train enthusiast. Robert was the former proprietor of Bob's Pizza in Ballardvale. He also enjoyed being at his summer home in Hampton Beach.
He will be sorely missed by his loving son and daughter-in-law; Robert W., III, and his wife Elizabeth K. (Simonds) Moody of Andover, grandchildren; Kristian P., Shawn P. and Brendon R. Moody, all of Andover and brother Ronald Moody of New Hampshire.
His funeral service was celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Monday, May 13, 2013, at 10 AM. Many relatives and friends were in attendance. Calling hours were held on Sunday, May 12, 2013, from 4 to 7 PM. Interment was held in Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
