Charlotte (Boden) Carre 91, of Needham died on Tuesday August 10th at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. Born in Harrisburg Pennsylvania Charlotte had been a resident of Needham for nearly 60 years. A graduate from Wayne State University in Michigan Charlotte taught fourth grade in Detroit. Very active in civic affaires Charlotte was a past president of the League of Women Voters in Needham and a town meeting member for over 20 years. She also worked for the Needham High School in computer operations and later went to work for the Town of Needham retiring in 1988. Charlotte was the beloved wife of the late Peter W. Carre. Loving mother of Peter J. Carre of Sydney Australia, Catherine M. Tardiff of Chevy Chase MD and Jane C. Starkey of Bradenton FL. Sister of Jeanne Boden of Needham. Also survived by 7 grandchildren. Funeral services at the Carter Memorial United Methodist Church 800 Highland Ave Needham on Friday August 13th at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
