Robert P. Barboza, age 76 of Somerset, passed away on May 4, 2013. He was the husband of the late Theresa (Correia) Barboza and the son of the late Manuel and Lucy (Medeiros) Barboza. Prior to retiring, Robert worked as a Superintendent for the President Village Apartments. He was a US Army veteran during the Vietnam War, a parishioner of St. Michael Church, and a volunteer for the Fall River Boys & Girls Club. He also enjoyed playing pool.
He is survived by his children: Robert Barboza of West Roxbury, Cheryl Ann Barboza of Somerset, and Patricia Marie Lovett of Portsmouth, RI; grandchildren: Joshua, Madisyn, & Brady; several cousins, nieces & nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA on WEDNESDAY at 8:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
