Phyllis M. (Lindquist) Watson of Reading passed away on Sunday August 8, 2004 at her home.
Born in Reading, Phyllis was a lifelong resident of Reading. Phyllis was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a warm and gentle smile that embraced everyone that knew her.
Phyllis had a passion for her family. They were first and foremost in her life. Her love for them went unparalleled. Phyllis spent her life as a dedicated homemaker.
Phyllis was the beloved wife of Theodore R. Watson. She was the loving mother of Joan A. McDonald and her husband John J. of Colleyville Texas, Donna R. Rosenkrans and her husband William E. Rosenkrans of South Windsor Connecticut, Martha L. Watson of Reading. Phyllis was the loving nana of David, Pamela and Emily Rosenkrans and Andrew and Gillian McDonald and the dear sister of Elsie L. Saunders of Reading and the late Edith Schimpkfe, Ruth C. Woodside and Alfred Lindquist. Phyllis was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Joseph Doherty Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Monday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Sunday 4-8pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St.
