Ann L. Pittenger, a 35 year resident of Peabody, Massachusetts entered into eternal life on Monday, May 6, 2013 at The Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. She was 75 years old.
Ann was born in Wooster, Ohio on October 28, 1937, a daughter of the late Carl W. Pittenger and Helen (Gulliford) Pittenger. She grew up in Wooster, Ohio where she attended Wooster Public Schools and graduated from Wooster High School. She furthered her education at Ohio State University and Plymouth State University. Ann was a Assistant Professor of Dental Hygiene at the Forsythe School and Associate Professor of Dental Hygiene at The New Hampshire Technical Institute. She worked as a Claims Analyst for Delta Dental Insurance for many years.
Ann is the beloved daughter of the late Carl W. Pittenger and Helen (Gulliford) Pittenger. She is the devoted sister of Fred Pittenger and his wife Nancy of Melrose and Tom Pittenger and his late wife Elizabeth (Liddy) Pittenger of Wooster, Ohio. She is the loving aunt of Richie Pittenger and his wife Leeza of Austin, Texas, Bill Pittenger and his wife Patty of Peoria, Illinois, Bob Pittenger of Mason, Ohio and Sharon Pittenger of Portland, Oregon. She is the dear friend of Jim and Ann Annis and family of Gilford, New Hampshire.
Ann's Funeral Services and burial will be private.
