Robert E. “Bob” Schoof, 71, of Londonderry, NH, died Monday, August 9, 2004 in the Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua, NH. Mr. Schoof was born January 17, 1933 in Evanston, Ill. Bob lived in Nashua and Londonderry for over 38 years. He taught missile technology in the USAF , worked in the aerospace industry and ran his own technical advertising firm. Bob enjoyed magic and was a serious collector of magic apparatus. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, the Society of American Magicians and the Yankee Collectors. Since acquiring Parkinson’s disease, Bob was very involved in contributing to the research for a cure.
He is survived by his wife Joan of 49 years, four children, Dave, Steve, Sue and Nancy, eight grandchildren, and one brother Ron in Texas.
Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry on Thursday from 7 - 9pm. Following cremation, a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 14th at 1:00pm at St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
