Ann Costarelli, 92 of Saugus, died Monday after a brief illness in the Epoch of Melrose, Melrose, MA.
Born in Boston, she lived in Saugus for the past 8 years and formerly of Medford. She was the daughter of the late Lucia (DiJulio) and Albert Cecere.
Ann was a private home health aide and retired 12 years ago, prior to that she was a Supervisor at the former Central Hospital in Somerville for 15 years. She was a member of the Medford Senior Citizens Club.
Beloved wife of the late Claudio Costarelli. Devoted mother of Nancy Steriti of Florida, Steven Costarelli of Medford, Jeanette Cataldo of Saugus and the late Claude Costarelli. Also survived by 15 loving grandchildren and 13 loving great grandchildren. Sister of Rosemarie Arguin of New Hampshire, and the late Dorothy Zankowski, Jennie Covotta, Joseph, Albert, Thomas, John, Carmen and Rocco Cecere.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford Wednesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
