Frederick J. “Tiger” Sciarappa, 85 of Dennis, died Friday after a brief illness in the Woodbriar of Wilmington, Wilmington, MA.
Born in Boston, he lived in Dennis since 1986 and formerly of Medford. He was the son of the late Jennifer (Lerro) and Christopher Sciarappa.
Frederick was a Crew Chief Operator, with Polaroid in Waltham for 30 years and retired in 1988.
Beloved husband of the late Rose M. (Porroveechio) Sciarappa. Devoted father of Arline Procopio and her husband Anthony of Salem, NH, Sharon Sciarappa and her partner Rosa Matara of Tewksbury. Loving grandfather of Debra Barbaro and Lisa Caron. Loving great grandfather of Olivia, Nicholas and Alyssa Barbaro, William and Sofia Caron. Brother of Arthur Sciarappa of Revere.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family from 8:30-9:30 AM.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
