Marie Carmen (Jesus) DeMello, 95, of Palm Beach, FL died May 1, 2013 peacefully at Palm Beach Gardens Hospital.
She was the wife of the late John Correia DeMello.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joaquim and Sofia (Rodrigues) Jesus she lived in Dartmouth and Palm Beach.
She was a member of the Beach Club in Palm Beach, the Palm Beach Opera and the Rolls Royce Club.
Survivors include a brother, Edward Monteiro of Fairhaven and her daughter-in-law, Debra DeMello of Dartmouth.

She was the mother of the late Carmen Arruda and John C. DeMello, Jr.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 7th at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Her family will receive guests on Tuesday morning from 10 - 11 AM prior to her service. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
