Phyllis Irene (Schulze) Brew age 90, formerly of Natick died April 28 2013 at the Village House in Newport RI.
She was the beloved wife of the late John Robert Brew.
A Natick resident for 60 years she born in Hammond Indiana, the daughter of the Frank and Irene (Conces) Schulze.
Phyllis was active in the Natick Community as a dedicated volunteer at the Kennedy Senior Center delivering Meals on Wheels and assisting with the financial service program. At St Patrick Parish she was weekly lector, Bible study group participant and host, and a committed adorer in the Perpetual Eucharist Adoration Chapel, and was on the St Patrick Reunion and Golf Tournament Committees.
She participated and held leadership roles in the ITC, (International Training in Communication) , was active in the Girls and Boy Scout programs and was an avid gardener and talented oil-paint artist.
She attended St. Teresa College of Winona, MN.
She is survived by John Robert Brew and Jo-Ann Aldsworth of North Attleboro, Vincent Patrick Brew and Leslie of Littleton, Suzanne Irene Lessels of Newport RI, Margaret Anne Brew and Ubo Termote of Bloemendal the Netherlands, her grandchildren Christopher and Katie Brew, Kara and Gillian Lessels, Daniëlle, Suzanne, and Michelle Ann Termote, her sister in law Marilyn Schulze several nieces and nephews, she was also the sister of the late Frank Schulze, and the late Maryann Bethell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Friday May 10, at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Patrick’s Church at 10:00 A.M.
Burial will follow in St Patrick Cemetery.
