Mr. Richard J Murray, 82 of Cumming, GA passed away at the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, GA on Sunday April 28th 2013 after a year long battle with cancer. He was only a few weeks shy of his 83rd birthday when he died.
He was born on May 16th 1930 in Salem, MA and was a graduate of Medford High School (class of 1948) where he grew up. He called Tewksbury. MA his home for many years from 1958 - 2002 after which he moved south to Cumming, GA to retire. He worked his entire career as a printer retiring from Matthews International in the late 1990's. He was an avid history and science buff and enjoyed many quiet hours reading.
He is survived by his son Richard J Murray Jr., of Canton, GA, daughter Nancy L Murray of New Boston, NH, brother George and sister In law Carole of Spring Hill, FL and sister Virginia of Tewksbury, MA along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. His wife of 51 years Evelyn A (Parparian) Murray passed away in 2009.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 11:00 A.M at the funeral home with burial at Immaculate Conception Cemetery to follow.
