Marie E. Deighan, 96, of Homestead Avenue, Johnston, died Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the wife of Thomas J. Deighan. They had been married for 55 Years.
She was a daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Duffy) Butler. She lived in Johnston for 55 years. She was an inspector for General Electric Base Works 37 after for years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter Maureen Payette and her husband, David Jordan of Johnston, two grandchildren: Jennifer Payne & Greg Payette and three great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Rose Perreault.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 10:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence, RI 02909. Burial in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 5-7. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Thomas Church.
