Obituary

Lois E. (Arpin ) Buschenfeldt a resident of Stoughton for over 69 years passed away on Sunday April 28, 2013 at the Signature Healthcare BrocktonHospital. She was 88 years old and the beloved wife of over 62 years to the late Herman E. Buschenfeldt. She is survived by her two daughters, Karen L.Thompson and her husband Allen of East Bridgewater, Joyce E. Costa and her husband Edward of Wrentham, her two grandchildren Michael E. Costa and his wife Christina J. Costa of Mansfield, Kasey L. Costa of Wrentham and his great-grandson Ryan M. Costa also of Mansfield. She was also the loving sister of the late Robert Arpin.

Born May 30, 1924 in Boston, Massachusetts she was the only daughter born to the late Noel and Edith I. ( Culver ) Arpin. She attended and was a 1941 graduate of Roslindale High School.
Lois was employed as a Secretary at the former family business Karl W. Buschenfeldt & Son in North Stoughton for many years. She was a member and attended the Trinity Episcopal Church in Stoughton. She enjoyed reading. She was also very dedicated to her family and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 1, 2013 at 12 noon in the Trinity Episcopal Church, 414 Sumner Street, Stoughton. The Rev. Philip C. Jacobs officiating. All are welcome to attend. Burial will follow in the family lot at Maplewood Cemetery, Stoughton.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday April 30, 2013 from 4 – 8 P.M. in the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph,MA 02368-4633 or to the charity of one’s choice in Lois’s memory would be appreciated.
