Lynda Bagguley Pipkin, age 61, died Saturday, April 27, 2013 at her home in Coffeeville, MS surrounded by her family. She was born October 1, 1951 in Memphis, TN to the late Thomas Elmo and Mary Elizabeth Hughes Bagguley. Lynda was a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she received both the Bachelor of Arts in Education and Masters Degrees. She was a member of Kappa Delta Pi, Educational Honors Society, past president and member of the South Yalobusha County Association of Educators, and a member of the Mississippi Association of Educators. Lynda was an active and faithful member of Coffeeville United Methodist Church, where she served as a choir member. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, Bible study and she dearly loved her family and friends.
Visitation is planned for Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Coffeeville United Methodist Church with Rev. Hal Hall, Jr. and Bro. Truman Scarborough officiating. Burial will be in the Coffeeville City Cemetery with Alex Pipkin, Jason Melton, Kyley Holloway, Evan Brewer, Justin Brewer, Erik Brewer, Slade Redwine, and Carter Brandon serving as pallbearers. William Jeffreys, Joe Farmer, Homer Melton, Billy Dean Fielder, Robert Vescovo, Kevin Harbin, Donnie Jackson and Greg Belford will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Lynda is survived by her husband of 37 years, Edward C. Pipkin of Coffeeville, MS; two sons, Edward Littleton Pipkin and Thomas Joshua Pipkin both of Coffeeville, MS; two nieces, Tonya Harbin and Patty Daniels both of Coffeeville, MS and one nephew, Timothy Rynne Bagguley of Coffeeville, MS.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline Suzanne Smith and her brother, Timothy Elmo Bagguley.
