Wife of the late William E., Mother of Kathleen Williams of Rockland, Beverly Hill of Osterville formerly of Raynham and the late Jo-Anne Brodeur formerly of Taunton. Sister of Robert Mack of Brockton, Donald Mack of Stoughton, Alfred Mack of Attleboro, and the late Lawrence, Joseph and Wilson “Sonny” Mack. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Obituary
Mrs. Syrjala died Friday afternoon in the Royal Megansett Nursing Facility in North Falmouth. She was born, raised and educated in Brockton and the daughter of the late John B. and Ruth (Murphy) Mack. For many years Mrs. Syrjala was the Credit Manager for the family business of Brotherhood Oil in Brockton. She was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, Catholic Charities and the Edwina Martin House Advisory Board. She was member of Massasoit Community College Senior Center, The Abington VFW Auxiliary #5737for many years, the former St. Edward’s Church now St. Edith Stein in Brockton, St. Joseph’s Church in Zephyrhills, Florida and BetMar Community in Zephyrhills.
