
Joseph J. Sniegoski, age 93, of Lynn, died suddenly at the Mass General Hospital April 26.
Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Andrew and Eva (Philaponis) Sniegoski, and the husband of Alice M. (O'Neil) Sniegoski, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.
He was a veteran of World War II and was a mill operator at the Hathaway Company for 30 years, retiring 28 years ago. He was a life member of the Polish Legion American Veterans, Post 56. He was a communicant of the former St. Michael's Parish.
Besides his wife Alice he is survived by three sons, Robert J. and his wife Carol of Ayer, William Sniegoski of Rowley, Thomas and his wife Leeanne Sniegoski of Stoughton; one daughter, Diane S. and her husband Scott Dana of New Boston, N.H. Beloved grandfather of seven grandchildren, Erin, Ryan, Maghan, Matthew and Terry Sniegoski, and Maggie and Sam Dana; two greats, Collin and Rorey. Also several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John Sniegoski and Anna Babaian.
Service information: Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the NADWORNY Funeral Home, 798 Western Ave., Lynn Monday at 8 a.m. Mass of Christian burial in St. Mary's Church at 9 a.m. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m.
