Jacquelyn “Crazy Lady” McKinney, 70, of Irwin County, Georgia, died, Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla with the Rev. Glen Fussell officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Friday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. McKinney was born November 11, 1942, in Sycamore, Georgia to the late Oscar and Mary Woodruff Mauldin. She graduated from Hapeville High School in Hapeville, Georgia and received an Associate’s Degree from American River College in Sacramento, California. She served for two years in the United States Air Force. Mrs. McKinney enjoyed reading novels and listening to country music. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She dearly loved her kids and grandkids and sacrificed much for them.
She is survived by a son: Kenneth Lloyd McKinney of Ocilla; two daughters: Cynthia Denise McKinney of Ocilla and Tammy Lynn Battle of Ocilla; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers: Joseph Leroy Mauldin of Panama City, Florida and Kenneth Monroe Woodruff of Tifton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth McKinney; a daughter: Tracy McKinney; two brothers: Wayne Mauldin and Albert Mauldin and one sister.
