Hilda (Machado) Barboza, age 88 of Fall River and Somerset, passed away on April 25, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur M. Barboza and the daughter of the late John and Maria (Pulcheria) Machado. Prior to retiring, Hilda worked for Stella Ann Frocks as a machine operator. She had been a parishioner of St. John of God Church.
She is survived by her children: Charles Barboza of Fall River, Theresa Hyde of Ocean Springs, MS and Judith Borges of Swansea; her grandchildren: Jeffrey and Greg Hyde, Bobbie Jo and Michael Barboza, Lisa and Lori Borges, Christie (Barboza) Farias, and Melissa (Barboza) Anikieva; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was the mother of the late Arthur M. Barboza Jr. and the sister of the late Mary Furtado & Alice Caetano.

Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River, MA on MONDAY at 8:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the SS. Margaret & Mary Chapel of Catholic Memorial Home at 9:30 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours SUNDAY 4-7 P.M.
