Lydia (Mendes) Mendes, age 90 formerly of Fall River passed away April 22, 2013. She was the widow of Simon Mendes and daughter of the late Frank and Evangelina (Espirito Santo) Furtado Mendes.
Lydia was the sister of the late Joseph, Everett, Manuel and Evangelina Mendes. She leaves several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Family and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 11 A.M. in St. Joseph Church, N. Main St. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
