Patrick J. Colarusso

...Longtime Medford resident, WWII Veteran, 90

TEWKSBURY- Patrick J. Colarusso, age 90, died Friday Aug. 6th at the Blaire House ofTewksbury after a long battle with cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. He was the Husband of Adrienne(Scola) Colarusso with whom he celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past April.

He was born in Boston, August 13, 1913 ,a son of the late Giuseppe and Giuseppina (Mazzarella)Colarusso. He had lived in Medford since 1956 before moving to Tewksbury this past April.

Heworked as a Truck Driver.

He served in the US Army during WWII.

He was active in theD.A.V. and Local 25 AFLCIO Teamster's.

Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law; Patricia (Colarusso) and herhusband Antonio Cerminara of Malden, Maria (Colarusso) and her husband Carmen Ciancio ofTewksbury; four grandchildren; Nikki and Tynia Ciancio, Anthony and Joseph Cerminara; twosisters Eleanor Zerega and Marguerite “Bibby” Lovett both of Revere;several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was also the brother of the late Phyllis Lemmo, John, Ralph and Louis Colarusso.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday Aug. 10, in St. Williams Church. Burial with Army honors was in Tewksbury Cemetery.
