William D. Stanfield, 78, passed away April 21,2013 at Kindred Hospital. He was a retired accountant with Durkee’s Foods, a Catholic by faith and an Air Force veteran of Korea, Airman 3rd Class. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sayoko (Maeshima) Stanfield; son, James A. Stanfield(Sherry); brother, Jerry Stanfield; sisters, Delores Thieneman, Sharon Stanfield and Judy Anderson; three grandchildren, Nichole Bryant, Evan and Logan Stanfield; two great grandchildren, Tommy Woolam and Ava McKinney. Memorial service will be Thursday 7 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with a private inurnment at Kentucky Veteran Cemetery, Central. Visitation will be Thursday from 3 P.M. until 7 P.M., time of service.
