Eva H. (Pelletier) Moreau, 78 of Salem, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Grosvenor Park Nursing Center in Salem. She was the wife of the late Elzear J. Moreau, Jr.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Hilda (Laroche) Pelletier. Eva first worked for the former Maynard Plastics of Salem and the last 20 years of her career, worked in packing for Fishery Products of Danvers.
Eva was devoted to her family and her large extended family. She loved spending time with her family and especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also found time to join and enjoy several social clubs including the Italian American Citizens Club of Peabody, the Franco American Club of Beverly and the Lafayette Associates of Salem.
She is survived by four sons, Paul L. Moreau of Peabody, Joseph P. Moreau of Salem, Robert W. Moreau of Swampscott, Randall L. Moreau and his wife Jacqueline of Acton, ME, a daughter, Rita C. Shores and her husband Chris of Conroe, TX. She is also survived by her brother, Phillip Pelletier of Sturgis, SD as well as 14 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Anthony A. Moreau, and her siblings, Albert, Leo and Lucille.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 8:00 AM to be followed by her funeral mass in Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem at 9:00 A.M. Visiting hours, at the funeral home, will be on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
