Palmer, Richard A. 72, Retired Patrolman BPD, of Marshfield, April 20, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Joan (Caiewski) Palmer. Loving father of Susan Palmer and her wife Linda Wells of Littleton, Michael Palmer and his wife Kathy of Natick, Steven Palmer and his wife Tricia of Oxford and Christine Palmer of Marshfield. Cherished grandfather of Harrison Wells Palmer, Shannon, Matthew and Colin Palmer and Zachary and Dillon Palmer. Son of the late Fredrick and Evelyn (Athmer) Palmer. Brother of the late Fredrick Palmer. Richard also deeply loved his grand Dog Kosher.
Richard was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester, he lived in Waltham for 30 years before moving to Marshfield 10 years ago. Richard was a retired patrolman for the Boston Police Department, he was with the department for 28 years retiring 16 years ago.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2013 from 4-7 pm at MacDonald Funeral Home, 1775 Ocean Street, Rte. 139, Marshfield.
A Service will be held at 7:00 pm.
A private interment will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
