NATICK: Jane M. (Fitzgibbons) Cammarano, age 71, died suddenly at her Natick home on Tuesday morning, April 16, 2013.
Born in Norwood on December 5, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice C. (Finnigan Fitzgibbons) Richards. Jane moved from Walpole to Milford as a girl and attended the Sacred Heart School. After a subsequent move with her family to Framingham, she graduated from Framingham High School in 1959.
Jane married and settled in Natick. She became employed as a school bus driver with Michael J. Connelly and Sons. She drove a route for the Dover Sherborn Schools for nearly 35 years. After a few years driving, Jane opted to take on a second career, that of working at Roche Bros in Natick. She worked both jobs concurrently for over thirty years. Still employed at the Courtesy Booth with Roche Bros, she had been with the company 32 years.
Jane was a tremendous Boston sports fan. She was a faithful member of the cheering section when her son was involved in any sporting events, and if the event took them out of town, she would turn the outing into a “trip,” often accompanied by her parents. Jane was devoted to the care of her parents as they got older and was delighted to welcome her grandchildren, triplets born in 2009.
She is survived by a daughter, Theresa Willert and her husband Thomas of Potomac Falls, VA; a son, Paul “Ted” Cammarano II, and his wife Bethany of Northbridge; her grandchildren, Brooke, Paul, and Jacqueline Cammarano; and a brother, Charles Fitzgibbons and his wife Sue of Alabama. She was also the sister of the late James Fitzgibbons.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Linus Church, 119 Hartford Street, Natick, on Tuesday, April 23rd at 9:00a.m. Burial will follow at Saint Patrick Cemetery. Visiting hours are in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, Natick, on Monday 4 – 7p.m.
